Michele Noble
Contemporary visual artist Michele Noble lives and works near the Humber in East Yorkshire. She has studied at Bath Academy of Art and the Central School of Art, and gained an MA in Art and Design from the University of Humberside.
"My post-degree art practice began in the 1970s with figurative work in collage and fine art enamelling," says Michele, " followed by tiny land and seascapes and the experimentation in the MA years that resulted in the later abstract works."
The new century threw up many personal difficulties for Michele, including health problems. "Unable to achieve much practical art work during this time, it was the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown that enabled me to focus on developing my practice," says Michele. "I found a different art world - computers, social media, websites. I felt as if I'd come straight from the stone age! It's a new beginning, exciting but scary!"
